Europa Components was founded in 1974 as a wholesale supplier of electrical components, and incorporated as a Public Limited Company in 1991. The company is based in Luton, but has an active team of regional account managers who are happy to conduct site visits throughout the UK. Europa Components pride themselves on being a fearless and forward-looking company, with an honest, can-do approach and respect for their valued client base.

Surge Protection

Surge Protection devices offer Coaxial and Ethernet Cable and Phone Line Protection for data and communications, plus modular SPDs with integrated fuses and din-rail mounted modular Surge Traps. These are designed for various earthing configurations, with Compact and Combined Types 1, 2 and 3 devices also available for secure systems earthing.

Enclosures

Europa Components Enclosures include rectangular Landscape or Portrait styles, with a galvanised back plate, earth studs and top and bottom gland plates, This type of Enclosure is available from Rowse in Stainless Steel, Epoxy Coated Steel or Insulated ABS Plastic. Steel Enclosures are also available in many sizes of Square, as Terminal or Extension Boxes and Pent Hood Enclosures, as well as Essential Enclosures with only one gland plate. We also supply Combination Boxes, Insulated Adaptable Boxes, Fibox ARCA IEC cabinets and Fibox MNX Enclosures.

Switch Gear

Europa's extensive range of switchgear includes Fused, Cam and Door Interlocked Switches, Enclosed and DC Switch Disconnectors, an Aluminium Enclosed Firefighters' Switch and a Safe Switch collection. This incorporates a selection of Enclosed Door Interlocked Switch Disconnectors, Switch Fuses and Changeover Switches in cabinets of various materials, as well as unenclosed Door Interlocked versions. Enclosed and unenclosed MCCB and CBR devices are also supplied in 3 and 4 poles, plus 3 and 4 Pole Switch Disconnectors and a range of supporting accessories.

Fuses

Domestic BS fuses are available for Consumer Units, Plug Tops and House Service Cut-outs, while the BS HRC range incorporates BS88 Industrial, Motor Rated and Semi-Conductor fuses, together with such accessories as Safe Clips, Links and Fuse Holders. Also available are Miniature Fuses, Cylindrical Fuses and NH Blade type fuses, together with American fuses and Application Specific fuses such as Fork Lift Truck and Bottle fuses.
