ISO 9001 &
14001 Update

Post By: Ryan King On: 08-10-2018 - Company Updates

Recently at Rowse, we have successfully transitioned to the new international standards Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 and Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001:2015. Following an in-depth assessment of our Quality and Environmental Management processes and procedures by ACS.

Both standards have been a part of Rowse's working practices and procedures for some years. Having successfully transitioned to the new ISO standards, we can see even more benefits for companies than the standard's predecessors.

"Since the beginning of the company Rowse has seen a great benefit of incorporating the ISO standards into our working practices, not only for our staff but also our customers. I am delighted that again our systems have successfully passed the external audit making the transition to the new standards."

ISO 9001 & 14001 Update

What is ISO 9001?

ISO 9001 is the most widely recognised standard. ISO 9001 is a worldwide standard for basic quality management. Businesses like ours that use ISO 9001 can show that the company has detailed documented processes for ensuring quality throughout all internal and external operations.

With ISO 9001 our business can provide better customer service, increased quality and efficiency through all our detailed processes.

At Rowse, we strive to provide the best quality service possible to all our customers and suppliers. Our internal processes and training programs help our team to provide the best possible service while ensuring efficiency is maintained. We believe that we should be fully transparent with our policies and you can read our quality policy, here.

What is ISO 14001?

ISO 14001 is the basic framework for businesses to improve environmental management systems, this involves:

  • A detailed environmental policy including plans, procedures and controls to reduce/manage the environmental impact of the business.
  • Setting measurable targets to meet legislation and anti-pollution requirements.
  • Detailed training and communication plans.

At Rowse, we have detailed plans and procedures to reduce our environmental impact and carbon footprint. We are actively implementing solutions and training to improve our impact on the environment. You can read our environmental policy, here.
